Eraser with Gutmann Method 35 pass: can recover files?

Hello, this is my first post, I hope to find a good answer
to my question!
Time ago I cancelled with eraser some corrupted files from my pc,
using the option "35 pass Gutmann". I would like to know
if there is a chance to restore that file(s), maybe using some
programs or contacting some experts. Thank you! R.

As of now, current sentiments are that it is impractical to recover files even after overwriting them once. Thus, it is unlikely this is doable.
