Eraser won't finish

Always seems to stick in the 90%, and never completes.

Any ideas?

XP sp2 system

At least yours makes it to 90% - mine usually hangs at 75% during a free-space wipe.

Are there any known work-arounds/solutions for this? It won't even finish in "Safe" mode. I've been using the one in PGP and also Necrofile, but I don't like them as much as I like the job that Eraser used to do on here. Pete
 
It doesn't help at all that it's such an intermittent problem, either. Last night when I came home, I fired it up and ran it (that's when I normally do it) - and I'll be damned if it didn't run through correctly. Pete
