eraserd free space error message

Hi guys,

I am looking to create a batch file to automate the erasing of various files and free space. However when I run the following command it returns an error:

eraserd -disk c: -passes 1

The error message I receive is:

"
run-time error R6000
- stack overflow
"

I am running WinXP. I do not have this problem with my other computers running 2000. Any help would be appreciated!. TIA

Ok, I resolved my own problem. Me so silly.

It turns out, that the Eraser I downloaded was from the old http://www.tolvanen.com/eraser/ site.

I downloaded the latest version and the problem has disappeared.

Also, if you want to run the batch file on Windows, you should use "eraserl.exe" instead.
