Good day to you!
I am trying to erase (Gutmann) a drive which contains no files and which I have previously erased with another program and a less secure method. Trying to erase it with Eraser will finish instantly with no errors, and trying to erase unused disk space will finish instantly with errors. I'm aware that there are no actual files to erase or overwrite, but I would like the storage overwritten so that the files cannot be restored, and Gutmann method should certainly take longer for that, so I'm guessing Eraser is not actually overwriting anything.
Can you help me make the program overwrite the HD, even without files?
