deleting the file from its current location is more secure. Using Eraser, it's easier to do it this way, using the context menu to delete the file. But also, when you delete a file to the Recycle Bin, tracks can be left to show that the file was deleted from X location to the RB. The file IS gone, whichever method you use, but for added security it is far better to delete it from its location.
