Erasing unused disk space

How do I set up a scheduled task to erase unused disk space. Setting it up in Eraser using its in-built scheduler causes the task to fail with permission errors because Eraser doesn't escalate it's privileges.

Is there a way of scheduling it within Windows itself using a command line? But would that even work as wouldn't it attach to the running version which is running without privilege escalation.
