Erasing unused space

OS: Windows 7
Eraser Build: 6.0.7.1893 (tried to upgrade to Eraser 6.1.0.2066 but it said I had a newer version installed)
When I try to erase unused space I get the error "Session: Thursday, May 06, 2010 8:57:42 PM
Thursday, May 06, 2010 8:57:42 PM Error The program does not have the required permissions to erase the unused space on disk. Run the program as an administrator and retry the operation.
I have tried right clicking from the start menu and selecting "Run As Administrator" as per viewtopic.php?f=2&t=6077&p=17306&hilit=admin#p17306
 
You have to stop the running instance of Eraser first. Right-click on the Eraser icon in the system tray, and select 'Exit Eraser'. Then run as Administrator.
