Error message meaning

Trying to erase unused part of usb drive k (seagate black armor, not encrypted), get this error display:

Error: Erasing the Free Space of a drive requires elevation
Error: Erasing the Free Space of a drive requires elevation
Error: Failed to erase file names from drive K:\, don't know why exactly.

What am I doing wrong. Eraser works fine on drive c
