error message on verification

DMAN boot from CD to wipe hard drive....successfully completed 7 of 7 passes using DOD method but on verification---- error W (possibly relating to kernel?) stopped further verifying at 87%...?didn't see any post regarding this on the forum yet....thankyou

attempted quick erase 1pass and still same problem during verify is error "waiting for dmax kernel"
