I am wiping computers for resale and have Eraser wiping the unused space of the C drive and full drive wipes of other attached storage devices. This can take anywhere from a few hours to all day. I'll often times leave and come back in the morning (I have the PCs setup to never sleep and never turn off the screen). Some of the computers will still have the Eraser app opened and show that it has completed, but then other PCs' Eraser app windows have closed and then when I open the app again it no longer has the task that I had made so I can't right click on the task to see it's log. I don't see an application specific log for Eraser in the Windows Event Viewer. I'm just trying to figure out if the app finished wiping before it quit or not. Does Eraser create specific application logs that I can find in Windows Event Viewer?
