File rename and Log Files

Good evening,

Does Eraser rename files before deleting? So that if somebody would find the file with a name which says nothing about the original content. And second question is that i wanted to know if Eraser produces a log file with the deleting process in it so somebody can reconstruct the deleting process?

Eraser will rename the file i.e erase the filenames as well.
