Dealing with NSF database corruption and object store errors
Lotus Notes users sometimes face complex errors like:

  • “Database Corruption & unable to allocate space.”
  • “Object store database gets disabled.”
These errors usually occur due to:

✔ Disk space shortages
✔ Improper server shutdown
✔ Large NSF files
✔ File system-level corruption

How to fix:

  1. Run Fixup (fixup –f)
  2. Run Compact to rebuild database indexes
  3. Use Updall to repair view indexing
  4. Check server disk space and health
If corruption is severe and you want to extract data quickly, converting the NSF file to Outlook PST using eSoftTools NSF to PST Converter Software can help recover emails, calendars, contacts, and other items without losing data.
