I had reformatted and partitioned my harddrive, re-installed windows xp, then installed and ran eraser 5.7 to erase free space. When it completed and rebooted, I had no operating system. When I attempted to reboot again, bios no longer recognized my hard drive. I can manually setup the hard drive in bios and the computer will recognize it, but it will no longer automatically detect the drive. It doesn't appear that there's anyway to recover or restore the drive info on the drive itself. Any help would be appreciated.
