help!

Hi,

i have downloaded the DBAN CD file (.iso format) and also have CDburnerXP, but when i double click on the iso file to burn to CD a window pops up asking me to choose the program to open with.

So i went into CDburnerXP and burned the file onto cdr, but when i opened the cdr to check i only saw 1 file, and so the cdr did not work

Wat am i doing wrong

if the extension of the file burned is .zip....requires extraction to open .exe program...

An iso is a disk image. Typically, you would start your CD wrtiting program, then look for a menu option for burning a CD from an image, point it at the iso image, and it burns the CD.

You would not typically try to open the iso like you would a document, as it isn't meant to be used that way.
