history log file of deleted files

Hello, I’m currently deleting files as part of my final year experiment but when I use eraser, I’m having problems finding the log file which would provide information such as
“Was the deletion successful?”
How long it took” and if it experienced any errors
Does erase have this facility?

Not at the moment, but there have been requests for such a facility. If it gets implemented, it'll only be in 6.2
