I want to sell on my laptop and need to eradicate my data. Can Eraser REALLY permantly erase data? I am being told by me tech friends that data can always be retrieved!
Having tested it repeatedly, it works wonderfully. Even one pass is sufficient. This has already been discussed in great detail in these forums, so if you have doubts, do a search. Or better yet, test it yourself.
