I am wanting to sell my laptop and i am doing the DBAN. Its been two hours and it says .9% done and its still on its first pass. Can someone help me out?
I have not used Dban yet. But if it is like another and it appears so it depends on how many passes and te size of your drive. I use another program and run DOD 3 passes. I did this on a 40GB drive. It took 15 hours with a 1.8G processor.
