Opening old Lotus Notes archives (.nsf files) in Outlook isn’t straightforward unless you convert the file to PST format. I ran into this issue with an archived NSF file I needed access to in Outlook, and using the eSoftTools NSF to PST Converter tool helped a lot. It handled the conversion perfectly, keeping all email headers, attachments, and folder layout. What’s also great is that it can fix corrupted archive files before converting, so I didn’t have to run a separate repair tool.
