To open an MBOX file obtained from Google Takeout, follow these steps:

1. Backup Your Gmail and Download MBOX File
- Go to Google Takeout.
- Select Mail and choose the specific folders you want to back up.
- Create the backup and download the resulting ZIP file.
2. Extract the MBOX File
- After downloading, unzip the ZIP file.
- Locate the MBOX file within the Mail subfolder of the extracted files.
3. Install Mozilla Thunderbird
- Download Mozilla Thunderbird from thunderbird.net.
- Install the application by double-clicking on the downloaded file.
- During setup, you can skip configuring an email account if you're only importing the MBOX file for viewing.
4. Install ImportExportTools NG Add-on
- Open Thunderbird and go to Add-ons by clicking the hamburger menu in the top right corner.
- Search for ImportExportTools NG and install it. This add-on is necessary for importing MBOX files.
5. Create a Local Folder
- Right-click on Local Folders in the left sidebar.
- Select New Folder, name it (e.g., "Imported Emails"), and click Create Folder.
6. Import the MBOX File
- Right-click on the newly created folder and hover over ImportExportTools NG in the drop-down menu.
- Select Import mbox file.
- Choose Import all mbox files from directory, then navigate to where your MBOX file is stored and select it.
- Click Open to start the import process. This may take some time depending on the size of your MBOX file.
7. View Your Emails
