Absolutely—this was one of my main requirements during a recent email migration. I didn’t want to move my entire NSF archive, just a few project folders. Fortunately, there are eSoftTools NSF to MBOX Converter Software that let you preview the contents of your NSF file and pick exactly which folders you want to convert.
In my case, I exported a few folders to MBOX for use in Thunderbird. Everything came through cleanly—emails, attachments, dates, all intact.
