I used eraser yesterday and thought I had wrecked my computer; webpages were formatted wrong and partly couldn't be read, my active files were totally reformatted so as to be illegible.
I started setting up again. The instal XP disk said it couldn't install unless Norton Goback was removed, so I removed it.
To my great delight I then found everything working fine - web pages as they should be, documents back to normal. No need to reinstall!
My question: is there a serious issue with eraser, or is it just that it conflicts with Norton Goback?
Right now I've uninstalled eraser and am terrified of using it again, so I'd be very grateful to get this cleared up.
