Hello:
I have been trying to "erase" unused disk space thru the scheduler on an xp operating system. It has been running about 8 hours and still shows the green status bar about 85-90% & still shows "running". The log shows many, many "did not have its cluster tips erased because you do not have the required permissions to erase the file cluster tips or the process cannot access the file b/c it is being used" looks like most of the items are programs or application data. I read in the FAQ that this normal; I just wondered if it's supposed to take this long. Also, if it's unused space, why are all the "clusters" there? Tks for any response.
