Please help.

Apologies if this has come up before. I'm selling my old desktop and read that eraser was the best program to clean it up etc so I downloaded and ran eraser but now I cannot boot my computer.Ive no boot cd and tried everything I could to even start in safe mode etc but have no luck. I'm a novice computer user so bear with me please.

How did you use Eraser to wipe your old computer? If you somehow wiped the entire hard drive with darik's boot and nuke CD, then it won't start up by itself. or if you used the Eraser installed on your PC to erase critical system files, that will stop it from booting as well.
