Unless I'm overlooking something, it seems impossible to prevent Eraser 5.8 from adding an "Eraser Task Document" option to Windows XP's new document menu (ie. the menu shown when you right-click on the desktop and select "New"). I've tried unticking "Add menu item to Explorer context menu" under Eraser's general preferences, and even using Microsoft's TweakUI to hide the entry (which works temporarily, but only until Eraser is next launched). Generally speaking, I prefer programs to be as unobtrusive as possible, so any advice on permanently removing this would be appreciated.
