Problem installing Eraser 5.86 on 98SE computer

I recently downloaded Eraser 5.86. It installed just fine on my Windows XP Pro SP2 computer.

However, it will not install on my Windows 98SE computer. I first get the following message: "The eraser.exe file is linked to missing export shell32.dll:SHGetFolderPathA." That is followed by a second message: "Unable to execute file C:\Program Files\Utility\Erase\Eraser.exe. Create Process Failed: Code 31. A device attached to the system is not functioning."

I tried uninstalling and reinstalling Eraser, and got the same messages. I have Shell32.dll in my C:\Windows\System directory.

Any idea what the problem is, and how I should proceed? I checked the FAQ on this site, but could not find anything that related to these messages.

Please use the latest beta release...Eraser 5.87 beta 1

According to the change log...
Most importantly, support for Windows 98 has been restored

Thanks for the suggestion. However, all I can find on the website is 5.86a--so where do I locate 5.87 beta 1?

Got it. I had looked on the website rather than on the appropriate forum.
Installed and opened just fine.
