Question re startup

I tried 5.6a And it does what I want it to do. So thank you very much for a nice product.

I notice in the registry (windows 98) there is now an entry in the Run keys for basically

eraser -hide

What is the purpose of that? And will all the functionality be available if I eliminate it.

just makes eraser hide its main window and appear in the system tray.
