Is there a difference between the cryptographically strong pseudo random number generator that Eraser uses and a ISAAC CSPRNG cryptographically secure pseudo random number generator?? If so, which one is better?
I've also heard that there is a new method of securely deleting data from HDDs using 36 random number passes with the above mentioned generator instead of the Gutman method - which is supposed to be even better and more secure than Gutman. Is this true? If so, is there any chance that this method is going to be implemented into Eraser?
