"red X Eraser .dll" or "red X Eraser Shell Extension"

Thank you for Eraser. I have been freshly downloading this build via Firefox to my XP Home SP3 Averatec 3250 laptop, to be erased and given to charity. Windows XP is current with MS updates. No other version of Eraser is on my PC.
The program will not launch. I get either error message "red X Eraser .dll" or "red X Eraser Shell Extension".
I can follow instructions if they are step by step.
I appreciate your help!
 
I'm not too sure what dialogs are those. Can you post screenshots of them?
