SATA drives supported?

Are SATA drives supported by DBAN? I have a Seagate 120gig Sats HD and when the disk boots up i see the word boot: i hit enter to see the options and load the gui well after that 2 files load and then nothign happens the computer is frozen? Anyone know what's wrong?

Any imput woudl be greatly appreciated.

Some SATA drives might work with the dban-1.0.2 release, but they won't be supported until I obtain some SATA hardware.
