For those curious about the differences between old-school email clients versus cloud ecosystems, Pegasus Mail is more like a standalone communication hub, while Microsoft 365 integrates collaboration, security, and storage. No surprise companies want to migrate Pegasus Mail to Office 365 for unified access and compliance. The workflow became streamlined with the help of the SysInfo IMAP Backup Software, especially due to its Email Archiving to Local Formats feature. Before migration, I archived Pegasus mailboxes into PST/MBOX formats so the IT team could maintain a recovery copy.
