When I try to delete some 0byte size files in a tmp directory I get a message, unable to locate file, yet the file is there.
Does anyone have any solutions on how to delete these files...
I have tried to delete them through the ms-dos prompt but since its only a virtual machine the delete command runs through but nothing actually gets deleted. It simply returns to the prompt and gives no error message.
I have also tried to delete the file by using the win2000 recovery console but whne I try to access the documents and settings folder is simply returns access denied even though I have logon as admin. Any help would be greatly appreciated as this has me tearing my hair out for 3 days now.
Or does anyone know of a way to get Win 2000 to boot into MS Dos....because there is no option in the boot options dialogue.
Cheers
