Unused Disk Space and revovery

Hello,
I have Windows XP (with NTFS) and Eraser v. 5.84.
I use Unused Disk Space options with US DoD 5220 metods for example.
Next I try use Handy Recovery program and I can see a lot of deleted directories an files.
I can undelete file: file name and file data too.
Why I can do it ?

You should see DLL files recoverable. That is by design to make sure no one can detect if you really deleted/erased the file. See http://bbs.heidi.ie/viewtopic.php?t=2768

This is why I made this request.

I worry that we will get many more of these claims unless it is disabled by default.

Exactly:
I have two partitions on disk.
Second partition is for data files like photos, documents etc.
I deleted files one month ago for example.
I can undelete and see photos and documents. It's possible after using eraser with Unused Disk Space options (US DoD 5220 metods).

If you are certain about your results you will be the first person I am aware of that has ever successfully recovered data after it has been overwritten by Eraser. :?

Are you absolutely convinced of your results ???
