Version 5.6

Right now, I'm using Eraser 5.6.
I'm reluctant to use 5.8 because of the problems that I keep reading about.
I've used 5.7; but, for whatever reason, I seemed to have downloaded and installed 5.6.
It seems to work okay.
Are there any problems with 5.6 that an upgrade to 5.7 would handle?
Is 5.6 just as secure as 5.7?

are you sure it's 5.6? Open the program, click on Help and check the version from there (About Eraser). My version of eraser (5.7) contains the option to "uninstall Eraser 5.6", which is just a little error. It really means Eraser 5.7.
