Vista RTM - Will Eraser work?

Hi All,

I was thinking of installing the new OS Vista when it comes out, which I hope it will not be long. Browsing around I came accross the following subject:

I was wondering if Eraser will work on Vista when the sector writing access is blocked. Will that be a problem? has anyone used Eraser on Vista? Does it work ok?

We will update eraser for Vista when it is released in Q1 next year.

Hopefully the update should be reasonably seamless.

Hi!

I just installed Vista Enterprise (the real one) and I can tell you that Eraser 5.81 does not work well at all.

Is there perhaps a beta of Eraser for Vista I can try?
If so where can I get a hold of it?

When will the Vista compliant version of Eraser be out? Vista is available for Microsoft Software Assurance customers now, so a new version is really needed.
