i have windows vista home, and i just upgraded your package and it crashes whenever i try to add a task.

You probably have a problem with the Task List. In the FAQ topic entitled 'Common Eraser problems' you will find details of how to delete the Task List. Do this, and re-start Eraser. If that doesn't work, please give details of any error messages you are getting, and we'll try other things.
