i like using eraser to get rid of unwanted files. but have found the boot and nuke to be quite time consuming. i was wondering if it would be possible/worth the time and effort to create a virus that would corrupt all the data on the hard drive to be unreadable. would this be much faster? if anyone has any info on this it would be greatly appreciated. i have a little bit of programming knowledge but hardly any virus knowledge. if anyone has any links that would be great.

Hi zinzara

Eraser and DBAN are programs to help people protect their privacy.

They are not in any way related to virus writing, you are asking the wrong questions on the wrong forum.

Please do not associate Eraser or DBAN with virus’s.
