I have both tried the floppy and cd download version to wipe my 40Gb Western Digital Hard Drive. The operation seems to hang.
It is uncompressing the kernel. I get another message saying Ok booting the kernel..... Please wait......

Is this normal and I need to wait. I have given a quite a bit of time but there is no activity after that.
