I have got version 6.2.0.2979
I am trying to securely wipe unused disk space on a USB external drive
In the past I have used previous versions and the task starts to write files to the disk containing random stuff (depending on the erasure method) until the disk is completely full. It then wipes it and starts over. I presume this is how it is supposed to work.
However, now when I run the task it tells me it is running, but nothing is being written to the disk!
Any ideas what might be causing this?
