I checked out the post from Opius on Sept 8 2003 and tried on a different PC with another controller and get the same messages. This happens on every drive. The drives pass the Seagate diag tests and have been formatted using the SCSI controller utility. Any suggestions would be appreciated as we have several of these drives.

Thanks

If this only happens with one disk, then the disk is bad.

If this happens with all disks, then the disks are reporting incorrect sector counts, which is a known problem with some older SCSI disks.

It would be helpful to know the manufacturer and model of the disks.
