Hey, I have two questions

1.
I have wiped my HD of 10 GB from a bootable floppy.Ate the end of the proces I read the message that the wipe proces was succeed. The only thing I have not done is to save the logfile.

Is that a problem??

2. I have read in a turtorial that the last step of wiped your HD is:

After the process finishes, you will need to make a win98 boot disk. Boot from the
disk, and then type “fdisk /mbr” at the boot prompt. This will rewrite the MBR.

Why should I do that? Has that something to do with the Wiped process?

1. No problem at all - I never save any logs. I think that message is to do with an old version of DBAN and isn't necessary.

2. This message can be ignored too, again it's an old message that refers to an old version of DBAN. If you have the disk to reinstall the operating system you'll be fine.
