PC will not recognize CD-ROM

I have a home made system, MMX200, with Win98 SE installed. I used dban to erase the one, and only, hard drive and it appeared it worked fine. But, now when I boot to reload Win98 SE it doesn't recognize my ATAPI CD-Rom drive. I used the CD DBAN v 1.03. My PC doesn't have a floppy and my BIOS indicates to boot from CD-ROM. Can anyone help me?

Restore media for Microsoft Windows 98 is not always bootable. The best solution would be to find another Windows 98 disc that is bootable.

If you wiped the computer with the CD-R version of DBAN, then you know that the computer can indeed boot from the CD-ROM drive.
