    If you have erased the SSD boot drive your only choice now is to reinstall the OS. There is no recovery of an erased drive. Perhaps try boot up via CD or another drive and you might be able to copy back missing files - its a long shot but has worked in some cases.

    Your best bet is to delete the folder via windows and then run a free space erase. With 4 Million files any process trying to erase one at a time will take forever. A one pass free space erase will be sufficient

    Google seems to be flagging all downloads from sourceforge as malware. If you want to check if the eraser download is the official version then you can check the digital signature by right clicking on the file.

    Are you 100% sure you did a freespace erase? Also make sure you have a backup before doing any large scale erasure

    There is a EraserTmp directory created in the root of the drive - you can delete this
