have a look at the reply I've given in that thread. it's (I suspect) a Windows problem that simply requires the user to reboot Windows after running Eraser. The problem certainly sounds identical.

Yes, that's what it does! I suggest you read the Help files on the program itself before using it - the files give a clear explanation of what eraser does.

Alos, if that SpywareStopper program is still in your startup folder and you have it unchecked, check it again, restart your computer and see if these files reappear. If so you may need to reinstall SpywareStopper.
