Thats correct, its not working. I may be because it wants to write a dll file into an area thats protected since I don't have admin rights on this computer.... it may install fine when I get home and can try it on mine. If thats the case, I should be able to try the install again and...

I understand your point and the convenience of it but I like portable because I spend most of my computer time at work and I can use firefox portable and have all my bookmarks, history etc and then have all my programs to do everything I need without ever installing anything or leaving a trace...

Sorry I wasn't clear, but thats exactly what I did!..... It started installing, but then gave me the error saying I couldn't install that one dll file and asked me to cancel or ignore or abort. It must not be able to run standalone if it has to have that file in windows\system32

Control >shift>excape to get the task manager and then view the processes tab. Find eraser.exe and rightclick on it and go to "set priority".. it should be on normal by default... but set it where you want. Unless you have a very old system, this should not be an issue? I'm running a 3k...

I'm on my work computer that I don't have Admin rights too... I downloaded to my thumbdrive and attempted to install from my thumbdrive to a directory I had set aside for it.... so even though I pointed the install to my thumbdrive, it still tries to install to windows32 the file...

I notice my portable version 5.82 will delete unused space on my work computer of which I "do not" have admin rights too...... is there any limitations to this program in any area when the user does not have admin rights to the workstation?

When do we expect v5.84 to be available in a portable format? I don't like installing such programs as a "giveaway" on my computer.
