    Eraser vs Disk investigator... 0-1?

This is a really helpful and easy to understand answer. Whilst not wanting to reveal exactly how paranoid I am :) Id like to try and understand one point a bit better. I have sensitive data stored on drive 2, not the OS drive (1). I access 2 via 1 - right? - cos it the OS and the programs...

    Eraser vs Disk investigator... 0-1?

This is fascinating and slightly scary stuff, and it reminds me that a while ago I posted here asking about something Id heard that Windows does automatically - make and keep copies of everything. I was told in the reply to my post that no, this doesnt happen. Now I see that II was right...

I understand it records day,hr,min, seg, the drive and folder you access, the doc, wma, jpeg etc you open and what you do with it, and just goes on recording and...

Erasing old files - nothing happens

I am trying to erase a whole zillion of jpgs on my laptop - on a drive that has not been accessed for months and months. At first things went ok and the files were erased, but after a while everything stopped working. Firstly, the file names are in blue - which is not something I understand. Now...
