I attempted to export Outlook Calendar to ICS, mainly to create an offline copy and ensure my appointments remain accessible even if Outlook data gets moved or archived later. Saving directly from Outlook works, but it requires manually choosing the date range and repeating the same steps whenever another PST archive needs processing. This becomes inefficient when handling multiple backups or when you want to verify content before exporting, since Outlook doesn’t provide an advanced preview of all stored calendars in one place. I wanted a solution that could open PST files independently, list mailbox components in a tree structure, and allow me to export only calendar folders while preserving event formatting. During my search, I tested the SysInfo PST Converter, which offers smart PST data scanning, supports selective conversion, and preserves the original folder structure in the output ICS files. It also processes large files smoothly, which helps avoid system slowdowns.
