Build - Win 7 64 Bit Install Issue

New Member

I am running Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit. I downloaded the latest build ( and when I tried to run the .exe, I get an error message of: "...Eraser is not a valid Win32 application."

I would appreciate any advice to resolve this issue.

I assume the installer did not start at all.

This Windows error seems to have a number of causes. The most obvious possibility is that you have a corrupt install file. Try re-downloading.

I am having the same problem on a 32 bit Windows 7 machine.

Any ideas on what the solution is (downloading again doesn't help)

Right click your download, go to Properties. Is there a digital signatures tab? If so, what is the email address there?
Your download is then most certainly corrupt. You may need to clear your cache before downloading again.
