DBAN and external floppy drives

I'm fairly new to DBAN, but thus far haven't had many problems with it all except this one. Any time I try to run DBAN on a machine without a floppy drive (through a USB floppy drive), the program fires up and loads normally but never wipes, it simply proceeds directly to the end stating that it completed with non-fatal errors.

Any thoughts on what I'm missing? I've tried three copies of the program, which work on other machines, as well as two different floppy drives.

Try starting DBAN with "nofloppy" at the boot prompt, even if you are starting DBAN from a floppy drive.

DBAN cannot currently save log files to USB floppy drives.

Past that, follow the forum posting rules and provide information about your computer.
