DBAN Problems

hello

i got 2 sata-hdd. the first one has the partitions c: and d:, the third one is e:

i want to delete partition d: of the first hdd with dban
could it cause any problems if i delete a partition and not the full hdd?


now i got 2 problems:

1. when i try to start dban in interactive mode, the program always shows "dban finished with non fatal errors. this could be caused by bad sectors"

i already checked all partitions with checkdisk, but it doesnt help

2. both hdd are the same product, so how do i know which hdd/partition i have to choose in dban

Sadly, the developer of DBAN abandoned this forum several months ago (he last posted here back in February) and no longer replies to any queries posted here (see my thread from July 26 about this).
