In another thread (this one) admin said there should be a digital signatures tab on the Properties for erasersetup.exe . (That thread was about Eraser 5.6). I downloaded Eraser 5.7 and unzipped it, and there isn't a digital signatures tab for erasersetup.exe . Is it ok for it to be that way?

Was there a separate signature file (.sig or .asc) in the archive?

Yes, there's a file named : EraserSetup.asc

Opening that file with Notepad gives this text :

-----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE-----
Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (MingW32)

iD8DBQA/L7AyhUwqLYryyPcRAlPWAKDiJBCQymG1euoz3+ed9vo9ou4CbwCeNHy/
ZpKhEuVVAsLj59q1KJc0jvI=
=7Ajy
-----END PGP SIGNATURE-----

I just want to be sure it's OK to install the program.

If you downloaded the program from an official download site (most likely SourceForge), it should be safe to install. However, if you want to absolutely sure, you can use GNU Privacy Guard (http://www.gnupg.org/) to verify the digital signature.
